Plastic waste from the UK construction industry has grown 15 times faster than rest of Europe

Plastic waste generated by the UK’s construction industry rose by an average rate of 210% every two years between 2004 and 2018, far outpacing the EU, where plastic outputs from construction activity rose by an average of just 14% in the same period.
